We've been coming to the area for years and this is without doubt the best location. Enjoyed watching the wildlife, especially seals. Two black fins just off-shore seen for some time on a calm day! Hope to return soon.

We had an absolutely amazing time! We arrived in pitch darkness, with no idea what to expect when we woke up in the morning. It was amazing to get up and be met by those incredible views of the Pentland Firth. A real highlight was a walk along the coast, when we stumbled across a beach covered in seals - about 40 of them including lots of tiny pups. The house was very comfortable and it was so peaceful I slept like a baby!

I had a fantastic stay. It's beautiful, very modern and tastefully decorated and is also very comfortable. It has everything anyone could need..The views are totally breathtaking. I love how you can hear the sea when you go to sleep at night and when you wake up in the morning. Thank you for being so flexible on start/finish dates too...it really helps!

Wow! Beautiful place for a holiday. Magnificent sunsets. Seals and 'fins' just outside...on the Wildlife tour we were told of recent sightings of a Killer Whale in the Pentland Firth - did we see it?! I recommend the Maxi tour of the Orkneys. It was a fantastic holiday. We scrambled across the rocks to the Castle of Mey . My favourite walk was from John O Groats along to the Bay of Sannick to watch the seals, up to the lighthouse, past the Seagull nursery and finally to the Duncansby Stacks.

We have been really lucky with both the cottage and the weather on our first trip to Caithness. Beautiful views, great for birdwatching and taking a step back in time. Dunnet Bay is a great walk and it's great to see the seals 'shoving off' from Harrow Harbour (a short walk from the cottage).
